Berg Boys Digital ("we," "us," or "our") operates bergboysdigital.com (the "Site") and provides local SEO and digital marketing services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with the Site or the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you provide: When you submit a contact form, audit request, or Lead Gap Report request, or email us directly, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), website URL, industry, and any additional context you share. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and provide Services.
Automatically collected information: We use cookies and similar technologies to collect IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and interaction data (such as button clicks, phone-number clicks, and form submissions). Our hosting provider (Netlify) also generates standard server logs.
Analytics and Advertising Tools
We are transparent about exactly what runs on this Site:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and conversion analytics. IP addresses are processed in anonymized form.
- Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing. When you arrive from one of our ads and take an action (such as submitting a form or tapping our phone number), a conversion is reported to Google Ads. Google may use cookies to show you our ads on other sites (remarketing).
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — conversion tracking and advertising audiences. Standard events (such as PageView, Lead, and Contact) are reported to Meta, and form submission events may also be forwarded to Meta's Conversions API through our automation provider.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings, Meta Ad Preferences, or aboutads.info, and by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser.
Form Processing
Form submissions are processed by Formspree (our form back end) and routed through Make.com (our workflow automation provider) so we can respond to your inquiry and measure advertising performance. Both providers process your submission on our behalf.
How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries, schedule audit calls, and deliver Services
- To improve Site performance, user experience, and content relevance
- To send occasional service updates or marketing emails to existing and prospective clients (with opt-out honored)
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and investigate misuse
Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information with:
- Service providers who support our operations (hosting, form processing, workflow automation, analytics) under their respective terms — currently Netlify, Formspree, Make.com, Google, and Meta
- Advertising platforms (Google and Meta) via the cookies, pixels, and conversion events described above — under some state privacy laws this may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you can opt out using the links in the Analytics and Advertising Tools section
- Legal authorities when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law
- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice)
Your Rights
Nevada residents: Under NRS 603A (as amended by SB 220), you may request that we not sell your covered personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, so no opt-out action is necessary; you may still submit a verified request to the email below.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing." Our use of advertising cookies and pixels may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising — you can opt out via the advertising links above, by blocking cookies, or by emailing us.
EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest (responding to inquiries) and consent (marketing emails).

Data Retention
We retain inquiry and client information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Inactive inquiries are generally purged within 24 months.
